Vivo has officially unveiled the new Pad SE tablet, a budget model for education. The novelty is already available on the Chinese market at a starting price of 999 yuan (approximately $136).

Here's What We Know

For this amount, users will receive a basic configuration with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. Variants with 8/128 GB and 8/256 GB of storage are also available.

Vivo Pad SE is equipped with a 12.3-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2464×1600 pixels. The screen supports a refresh rate of 90 Hz and full sRGB coverage, which guarantees a high-quality image.

The manufacturer also emphasises the presence of a special anti-reflective coating that reduces light reflection by up to 97%. This not only improves readability but also reduces eye strain during prolonged use.

Inside is an octa-core chipset from Qualcomm, Snapdragon 4 Gen 2. The tablet is equipped with an 8500 mAh battery that supports charging up to 15W via USB-C 2.0. It also has two 5-megapixel cameras - a front and a main camera - and four built-in speakers for improved sound.

The developers paid special attention to the educational functions of the tablet. In particular, the tablet comes pre-installed with an application for scanning textbooks, as well as an artificial intelligence-based system that helps create a personalised learning schedule. All these features are currently focused on the needs of Chinese users.
