Vivo Pad 5 Pro debuts with 13-inch 144Hz screen, 12,050mAh battery and stylus support

Vivo has officially introduced the Pad 5 Pro, a new tablet that combines flagship features with a competitive price. The device is aimed at users who are looking for a productive Android tablet for work, study and entertainment.

The Pad 5 Pro has a 13-inch IPS display with a refresh rate of 144 Hz, a resolution of 3096×2064 pixels, 3:2 aspect ratio and a peak brightness of up to 1200 nits - more than many competitors, including the iPad Air.

Inside is the latest MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor, which delivers high performance in everyday tasks and heavy-duty applications. Thanks to the OriginOS 5 operating system, the tablet supports the simultaneous operation of multiple applications on the screen. There is also a workspace expansion feature - Pad 5 Pro can be connected as a second screen to a Windows or Mac computer.
Other advantages include eight speakers for surround sound, a 12,050 mAh battery with 66W fast charging, and up to 16 hours of battery life when watching videos. The tablet's metal body is thin and light, weighing less than 590 grams.
The main camera is 13 megapixels with a flash, and the front camera is 8 megapixels. In China, the base version with 8/128 GB was priced at $399, and the top version with 16/512 GB at $535. The official accessories, a keyboard with a touchpad and a stylus, are available separately or as a set for $125. There is no word on a global release yet.
