New game from Mass Effect creator cancelled - BioWare veteran Casey Hudson has closed his studio Humanoid Origin

In 2021, famous developer Casey Hudson, thanks in large part to whom the Mass Effect trilogy turned out the way gamers love it, founded Humanoid Studios, which later became Humanoid Origin.

BioWare veteran dreamed of creating a big-budget multiplatform game in space setting, but unfortunately his plans will not be realised.

Casey Hudson announced the closure of Humanoid Origin and the cancellation of all projects.

The reason for this decision is trivial - lack of funding.

A few months ago, Hudson shared the first concept art of an unnamed ambitious game, which confirmed that Mass Effect fans would definitely like it. It would be a story-driven project with a rich narrative and colourful characters - in the style of BioWare's best work.

Casey Hudson has not announced any further plans.
