Alan Wake 2 gets another update, but it doesn't address changes on PlayStation 5 Pro

Alan Wake 2 is one of the games that will receive an improved version for PlayStation 5 Pro. Although the game received an update on 26 November, it does not apply to the Pro version of the console.

Here's What We Know

The game has been updated with bug fixes and collectibles from The Lake House DLC have been added to the Saga's Mind Place when the DLC is played as part of the main campaign.

Also, access to the Night Springs DLC is available in the Writer's Room after completing any DLC chapter within the main campaign.

Gyro control and joystick interaction have also been improved. The full list of updates can be found at this link.

Although a patch was released for the Pro version that fixes shadows, the game did not receive a full update for this console. First of all, the game has problems with visual bugs.

Remedy notes that it sees all the feedback from players, but the team is still researching some things to improve performance on Pro. And since the PS5 Pro support has been in place for many months, the team will need more than a few weeks to make changes and improvements.
