OnePlus confirms the launch of Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro

OnePlus has officially announced that the next models in its Ace lineup will be the Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro.

The company omitted the number 4 due to cultural peculiarities in China, where the number 4 is considered unlucky.

Li Jie from OnePlus shared on Weibo that he recently saw the performance test results for the new models and was impressed with their performance, which is significantly higher than the competition.

The Ace 5 is expected to be internationally rebranded as the OnePlus 13R and will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.

The Ace 5 Pro model is likely to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite. Both smartphones could be launched in December.

The OnePlus Ace 5 will have a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED screen, a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP sensor, and a powerful 6000mAh battery with 100W charging support.
