Insider: Nintendo will release remasters of the second and third instalments of Metroid Prime in 2025

Fans of Nintendo games have been eagerly awaiting the release of Metroid Prime 4 for years now, which was announced in 2017. This game is expected to be released in 2025, but it looks like fans of the series are in for another surprise.
Here's What We Know
Insider SamusHunter2 revealed that Nintendo will release a Metroid Prime 2 remaster on Switch in early 2025. According to him, the updated game was planned to be released in 2024, but due to some technical issues, the release was postponed several times. The release of Metroid Prime 3 Remastered could take place between Donkey Kong Country Returns HD and Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition.
Additionally, the informant stated that Metroid Prime 3 Remastered could also be released in 2025. He doesn't rule out that the updated versions of the second and third parts could be sold as part of a compilation, but he knows for sure that they were originally planned to be released separately.
I'm looking forward to replay the entire Trilogy on the Switch before that.

As a reminder, a The remaster of the iconic Metroid Prime game has been digitally released on Nintendo Switch on Nintendo Switch in early 2023 and was warmly received by the public.
It makes sense that before the release of the new Metroid Prime 4, the company would release remasters of previous instalments.
