The Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra have recently received certification from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), bringing important updates to their connectivity.

Here's What We Know

According to FCC documentation, all three smartphones will support the latest Wi-Fi 7 (Wi-Fi 802.11be) standard. This upgrade is a significant step forward from the Galaxy S24, which, despite having an Exynos 2400 chip, remained on Wi-Fi 6E.

Samsung has already released devices such as the Galaxy Fold Special Edition and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra with Wi-Fi 7 support, but the Galaxy Fold 6 and Flip 6, although equipped with a Snapdragon chip, did not receive such support.

Wi-Fi 7 is expected to be the standard for all Galaxy flagship models in 2025, but ultra-wideband (UWB) support will only be available in the S25+ and S25 Ultra models.
