Four porn sites were blocked in France, but one of them remained accessible because only a subdomain was blocked by mistake
Recently, the Paris Court of Appeal blocked four pornographic websites in France for not having a proper system for verifying the age of users.

The two organisations fighting for the protection of children's rights that initiated the blocking probably considered it a major victory. However, in one case, things did not work out as they had planned.
According to l'Informé, the organisations filed complaints against Iciporno, Mrsexe, Tukif and xHamster, providing the web addresses of these resources. However, for xHamster, they submitted the address "fr.xhamster.com", which indicates the French subdomain of the site.
As a result, the court ruled to block this particular subdomain "fr.xhamster.com". This means that the providers have complied with the decision by blocking access to the site only through the "fr" subdomain. Thus, xHamster remains available in France until the regulator Arcom finds a way to close this annoying gap.
