A new 10-core Intel Core 7 240H processor has been spotted on the Geekbench website, and it has performed quite well in the tests.

Here's What We Know

This processor was tested on the Acer Nitro ANV15-52 gaming laptop both with and without the discrete RTX 4050 GPU. The Core 7 240H outperformed the more expensive 14-core Core 7 250H chip, scoring 2687/2689 in single-core and 13330/13279 in multi-core tests. This also makes it more performant than the desktop Core Ultra 5 225F.

The processor consists of two clusters of cores: 6 powerful and 4 power-efficient cores, with a base frequency of 2.5GHz and a maximum frequency of 5.0GHz. It also features an Intel Xe-based iGPU with 64 compute units and a maximum frequency of 1.5 GHz. Intel is expected to unveil this processor at CES 2025.
