Lego has delighted royal motor racing fans with its new creation - a 1:8 scale model of the Ferrari SF-24 from the Technic series. This set reproduces the legendary car, which fights for the championship in Formula 1. But there is a nuance: this beauty will not get under the festive tree. Even if you place an order now, delivery is promised not earlier than 1 March 2025.
Here's What We Know
The Ferrari SF-24 model consists of 1,361 parts and is about 61cm (two feet) long. There are moving parts: an adjustable spoiler, a functional steering wheel and a miniature version of the 1.6-litre V6 engine used in the real car. There's even a two-speed gearbox, and the pistons move inside the cylinders.
Like other Technic kits, this model is designed for adults. The task of assembling the constructor is quite difficult, but the pleasure of the result is worth it. The price is $229.99.
What else does Lego have for those who don't like Ferrari?
The Ferrari SF-24 joins the Lego F1 collection, which already includes McLaren and Mercedes-AMG models. The McLaren appeared a few years ago, it's slightly larger than the Ferrari (63cm) and has 1,432 parts. The Mercedes-AMG W14, on the other hand, is a true champion of complexity with 1,642 parts. Both sets are priced at around $200 each.
