NetEase releases Squirrel Girl trailer for Marvel Rivals

NetEase Games has unveiled the final line-up of starting characters for Marvel Rivals, including Squirrel Girl. Doreen Green, known for her bizarre victories over such villains as Thanos and Galactus, will enter the battlefield as a duelist armed with a slingshot and an arsenal of nuts.

Here's What We Know

Her powers include long-range attacks with a slingshot that can ricochet off walls and throwing a giant nut that summons a swarm of squirrels to immobilise enemies. She also boasts a high jump to increase mobility, making it easier to escape or tactically position herself. Her final attack, aptly named Squirrel Stampede, unleashes a chaotic charge of squirrels.

Squirrel Girl joins a roster that also includes Wolverine, Iron Fist, Black Widow, and Cloak and Dagger. More details about their powers are coming soon.

Where To Play

Marvel Rivals will be available on Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and PC.

When We Can Expect It

The game is scheduled for release on 6 December.
