Garmin has acknowledged a bug that causes watch faces to freeze or crash on its smartwatches.

Here's What We Know

The issue is caused by the Storage.setValue function and affects the Venu 3, Fenix 6, Fenix 7, Fenix 8, and Forerunner 265.

During the crash, the device may only show the Garmin Connect IQ logo.

The developers report that more than 400 thousand crashes have been recorded since the end of August. Temporarily, the problem can be solved by restarting the device or changing the watch face, but it can recur.

Garmin stated that it is working on fixing the bug, but the release date of the update is currently unknown.
