Samsung has started rolling out the One UI Watch 6 update for its Galaxy Watch4 and Watch6 smart watches. The update, based on the latest version of Wear OS 5, includes the October 2024 security patch.

Here's What We Know

One UI Watch 6 offers improved animations, redesigned icons and new watch faces such as Spatial Number, Simple Digital and Ultra Info Board. Also added is an energy indicator that combines sleep quality, activity and heart rate data for an overall health score. The sleep tracking feature now allows for better tracking of movement and breathing rate, and includes sleep apnea detection for older models.

The update is already available for some Galaxy Watch4 users in Korea and Galaxy Watch6 owners in Europe.
