A rollercoaster: in a year, Helldivers 2 reviews on Steam have fallen from "extremely positive" to "extremely negative", and now they have returned to "extremely positive"
Helldivers 2 has come a long way this year. In February and March, it was one of the most popular games. In the summer, due to not the best decisions of the developers, the game's rating fell rapidly and reached mostly negative reviews on Steam. However, the game managed to rehabilitate itself.
Here's What We Know
From now on, Helldivers 2 has exceptionally favourable reviews on Steam again.
As one of the players on Reddit noted: "I don't think I've ever seen a game go from extremely positive to extremely negative to mixed to positive and then back to extremely positive in my entire gaming life."
As a reminder, Helldivers 2 was named Game of the Year at the TIGA Awards 2024. So this year, it was one of the most interesting developments of the project, which managed to make amends to the fans.
