Oura has begun full implementation of Symptom Radar, a feature that helps detect signs of illness in users.

Here's What We Know

Initially, this feature was a test feature, and now it is fully activated for Oura Ring 3 and 4.

Symptom Radar monitors changes in user data that may indicate the onset of an illness.

The indicators measured include skin temperature, average temperature changes, respiratory rate, resting heart rate, and time without activity.

This data is taken into account along with the user's demographic information to identify possible health issues.

Oura will inform users of symptoms in three levels: "No Signs," "Minor Signs," and "Severe Signs." This information helps you understand whether you need to rest or continue your activity. It is important that even with small changes in the body, Oura Ring can determine that the user may be ill.

The feature will be activated by default for users with an active subscription starting from 5 December.
