Galaxy Watch 5 gets One UI 6 Watch update in the US
Samsung has released a stable One UI 6 Watch update for the Galaxy Watch 5 series in the US.
Here's What We Know
The update brings Wear OS 5 and security patches for October 2024. It is currently only available for Bluetooth versions, with support for LTE variants expected soon.
One UI 6 includes new watch faces, an improved boldface interface, and updated widget graphics.
The Energy Score feature in Samsung Health has been added to assess energy levels based on sleep and physical activity. Sleep analysis and workout programme creation have also been improved. The update introduces new gestures for quick actions such as answering calls and viewing notifications.
It also adds the ability to set up notifications and manage your calendar directly from the watch. In battery saving mode, health tracking functionality is limited to help conserve battery power.
