Real photos of Google's new Pixel 9a smartphone have appeared online, confirming previously leaked renders.

Here's What We Know

The back design of the device follows the 2024 trends for Google's Pixel lineup, with protruding cameras on an oval island. The Pixel 9a is expected to be powered by a new Tensor G4 chipset and 8GB of RAM. The smartphone will get a 5,000mAh battery with 18W wired charging.

The main camera on the back will feature a 48-megapixel Sony IMX787 sensor, the same one found in the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. There will also be a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, while the 13 MP front camera will be housed in a hole on the screen. These photos also confirm that the Pixel 9a will have a flat side bezel. The smartphone is expected to be unveiled in spring next year.
