A new look for the cult classic: 12 minutes of gameplay from Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1&2 Remastered has been unveiled
IGN portal published a detailed gameplay video of Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 12 Remastered.
Here's What We Know
The video allows you to evaluate the work done by Aspyr Media to update two famous action games of Crystal Dynamics studio.
The journalists showed fragments from both games and compared the original graphics and improved design of Soul Reaver. Players will be able to switch between these modes directly during gameplay.
Since Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 12 Remastered is not a remake, you shouldn't expect big changes. But it should be noted that the game looks much fresher and will look good on modern large monitors, because Aspyr will increase resolution and detail, introduce modern controls, add photo mode, implement dynamic day and night changes and make small technical changes. The game will have additional content, which was not there before.
Recall, the main character of the two famous games is the Fallen Vampire Raziel, who seeks revenge on the traitor Cain. To do this, he will have to pass many dangerous tests, defeat powerful enemies, solve puzzles and, finally, enter a direct battle with the former Mentor.
The release of the re-release will be timed to coincide with the 25th anniversary of Soul Reaver.
When We Can Expect It
Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 12 Remastered will release on 10 December on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
