In the state of Maharashtra, India, there was a tragic incident: the CMF Phone 1, a sub-brand of Nothing, exploded in a man's pocket while he was riding a motorbike.

Here's What We Know

The explosion caused the man to lose control of the vehicle, resulting in a fatal accident. A passenger on the back seat of the motorbike suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital. The phone had been purchased only a month ago and the cause of the explosion remains unknown.

According to preliminary reports, the incident could have been caused by a battery defect. Nothing has yet to officially comment on the incident. This case was the first reported incident of CMF Phone 1 exploding, but smartphone explosions are not uncommon.
