Apple's thinnest smartphone: an insider shared interesting information about the iPhone 17 Air
It is known that in 2025 Apple will present a new line of smartphones and among them will be iPhone 17 Air with a thin body.
The company has not yet revealed details of the device, but thanks to insider and Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman became known some nuances.

Gurman reported that the body of the iPhone 17 Air will be 2 mm thinner than the iPhone 16 Pro, which will make it the thinnest Apple smartphone.
Recall, the iPhone 16 Pro has a thickness of 8.25 mm, therefore, Apple's novelty will get a case of 6.25 mm. Previously, the title of the thinnest iPhone belonged to the sixth model, the thickness of which is 6.9 mm. All subsequent smartphones became thicker to increase battery capacity and install more powerful cameras.
According to Gurman iPhone 17 Air will receive 5G-modem from Apple, which, by the way, Bloomberg: next Mac model could get mobile internet support for the first time, thanks to Apple's 5G chip. The smartphone will have only eSIM, one camera and one top speaker.
The iPhone 17 Air is expected to go on sale in September 2025.
