Toyota Yaris/Cross sales in Germany unexpectedly rose 110 per cent in November
There were 244,544 new cars on German roads in November, BestSellingCarsBlog reported. Despite a minimal drop of 0.5% compared to the same month in 2023, the performance of Europe's largest car market remains 18.2% below November 2019 (299,127 cars), which preceded the Covid-19 pandemic. Overall, 2.59 million cars were registered in the first 11 months of 2024. This is 0.4% lower than a year earlier and 22% lower than it was in the first 11 months of 2019.
Here's What We Know
In the top carmakers, the situation is ambiguous. Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Skoda are showing growth. Toyota is breaking sales growth records. Peugeot has also markedly improved the result. At the same time, Audi's sales declined strongly.
