According to the South Korean publication Sedaily, Samsung plans to release its new XR headset (mixed reality) in the second half of 2025.

Here's What We Know

The device is expected to be presented at the second major Galaxy Unpacked event, where new Galaxy Fold and Flip7 smartphones may also be unveiled.

The first production run will be 20,000 units, and in the fourth quarter, production will increase to 30,000. As a result, 50,000 devices will be produced in 2025, but the number may vary depending on market demand.

As the mixed reality market is still in its infancy, Samsung has decided to take its time with production, given the high price and limited popularity of this technology.
