Rocksteady Studios has announced that support for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is coming to an end. The fourth season of the game, which was released on 10 December, introduced a new playable character - Deathstroke, and the "last battle against Brainiac".

The update also adds the long-awaited offline mode, although the publisher Warner Bros. assured that "all online features will remain available" for the co-operative shooter.

And the eighth episode, which will be the game's finale, is scheduled for 14 January 2025 and will include the final battle with Brainiac, which players have been fighting for a year.

Deathstroke will be the fourth DLC character, joining the already released Joker, Mrs Freeze and Lawless.

Offline mode will allow players to complete the main campaign and seasonal missions without an internet connection. The game previously required an online connection, which caused some discontent among players. To access the offline mode, players will need to create a new profile or copy an existing one.

As a reminder, the game received mixed reviews and faced a low number of players on Steam. The game was criticised for many aspects, both gameplay and storyline. After its release in February 2024, Warner Bros. admitted that the game's failure led to significant financial losses.
