According to new insider information, Samsung is planning to introduce a new Galaxy AI Audio Eraser feature in the One UI 7.1 update. This AI-based feature will help remove unwanted sounds in videos, such as wind noise, by adjusting the volume of voices and other sounds.

Here's What We Know

Galaxy AI Audio Eraser will be able to identify multiple sounds and voices in a video, allowing users to increase or decrease their volume individually. For example, it will be possible to reduce the volume of traffic and wind to make the other sounds clearer.

The feature is expected to be available on high-end Galaxy devices such as the Galaxy S25 series, which is due for release next month. It's not yet clear which models will get the feature, but more information will be available closer to the Galaxy S25 launch. The feature wasn't available in the first beta of One UI 7.0, so Samsung has probably reserved it for One UI 7.1.
