Samsung is gearing up to launch its new flagship Galaxy S25 smartphones and according to the latest leaks, the devices will be unveiled on 22 January 2025.

Here's What We Know

There were earlier rumours about the likely launch date of January 22 and now another insider has confirmed the date.

The company is expected to unveil three models at the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event, which is likely to be held in the US: the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra. According to the latest rumours, all the devices will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite processor with Android 15 (One UI 7) pre-installed. According to some reports, the Galaxy S25 and S25+ models in some regions may get a proprietary Exynos 2500 chip, but there are no exact details on this.

The Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ will reportedly retain the design of their predecessors, while the Galaxy S25 Ultra will get rounded corners for improved ergonomics, moving away from the design of the previous Ultra models. The smartphones will be sold with a minimum memory configuration of 12/256GB, will support Qi2 wireless charging and the latest UWB, Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi 7 standards. Also, all S25 models will receive Android updates for 7 years.
