Meizu is preparing to return to the smartphone market with the new Meizu 22 series, which could be introduced as early as 2025.

Here's What We Know

The company has been absent from the market for some time, but is returning with new devices that are likely to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.

According to a Smart Pikachu insider, the series will include two models: one with a compact screen and the other with a large flat display. Both variants will have improved in-car integration with Flyme Auto and are also being tested with a new AI button for interactive functions.

Meizu is also expected to use high quality OLED panels with a resolution of 1.5K for the standard model and 2K for the Pro version. Other innovations include ultrasonic fingerprint sensors and batteries with a capacity of over 5500 mAh.

The Meizu 22 series promises to be a competitor in a market where the camera and battery will be important advantages for users.
