On 10 December 2024, Apple announced that it had invested more than £18 billion in the UK economy over the past five years.

Besides, Apple has doubled the number of its engineering teams in the country.

Apple reports that 550,000 jobs have been created in the UK thanks to its operations. This includes employees of the company, as well as those who work in the supply of goods and services for Apple, as well as in the iOS application industry.

The company's engineers develop Apple Intelligence, Private Cloud Compute, and silicon technologies.

"We've been operating in the UK for over 40 years and are proud of our ties to the local community," said Tim Cook, CEO of Apple. He added that the company is excited about expanding its teams and supporting innovators in various fields.

Thanks to the expansion of Apple TV+ production, the number of jobs in the country has increased, and UK developers' revenues from the App Store have totalled £9 billion since 2008.
