Gamers are excited about Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 1&2 Remastered: Aspyr has released another great re-release
Yesterday (10 December), Aspyr and Crystal Dynamics studios released Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 12 Remastered.
The developers updated two cult action games from 25 years ago and gamers highly appreciated their work.
Here's What We Know
The majority of Soul Reaver 12 Remastered buyers on Steam were very happy with the re-release. The series still has a large number of fans who have left "extremely positive" reviews of the updated Soul Reaver and Soul Reaver 2.
At the time of writing, the re-release had 94% positive reviews. At the same time, many players complain about serious problems and the fact that for some unknown reason some locations of the games become too dark, as well as critical bugs that interfere with the passage. But most likely this will be fixed in the nearest patches.
Reviews of players in Steam
Some gamers rightly note that such games as Soul Reaver deserve a full-fledged remake, not a modest remaster. Probably, the developers will heed this wish and will release a modern version of Legacy of Kain someday.
