Prices of the new Samsung Galaxy S25 in Europe could remain at the same level as the S24, despite rumours of an increase
According to the latest reports, the prices of Samsung Galaxy S25 series smartphones may remain at the same level as the previous generation. Earlier there were rumours of a possible price increase, but now it is reported that the cost of the devices seems to remain unchanged.
Here's What We Know
Specifically, in Northern Europe, the Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra will be priced the same as the S24 models. For example, in Sweden, the Galaxy S25 with 128GB of storage will cost SEK 11,490 and the Galaxy S25 Ultra with 256GB of storage will cost SEK 17,990. The same prices there were also for the Galaxy S24 series.
In Germany, similar prices to the last generation are also expected: €899 for the Galaxy S25, €1,149 for the Galaxy S25+ and €1,449 for the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Thus, in Europe, the price tags for the new S25 smartphones may remain at the same level as its predecessors or may go up slightly.
Samsung is expected to offer a promotion with a free memory boost at launch, making the purchase even more favourable. Major changes in the new series include a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and 12GB of RAM for the base model. The Galaxy S25 Ultra will also get a new 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera.
