YouTube has started testing multiplayer mini-games
Google is actively working on expanding YouTube's gaming capabilities.
In May 2024, the YouTube is expanding its capabilities: Google has announced the introduction of a Playables option that will allow games to run on the video hosting service users, allowing them to launch games in the web version and mobile application of the video hosting service.
So far, gamers are available only single titles, but soon the service will also include multiplayer projects.
Here's What We Know
In the blog dedicated to the testing and experimental features of YouTube, published a message about the beginning of testing multiplayer mini-games.
Two such games are available so far: the rhythm puzzle Magic Tiles 3 and the competitive Ludo Blub.
Google notes that this is a first step and there will be more co-operative gaming options on the platform in the future.
