Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 6 Watch update for older Galaxy Watch models, and the Galaxy Watch 4 was the first to receive it.

Here's What We Know

This watch, released in 2021, was the first Samsung device to run Wear OS, after which the company released three more generations of smartwatches, but software support for the Galaxy Watch 4 continues.

The Wear OS 5 update is currently available in Korea, but will be rolled out to other countries in the near future.

The update includes the October 2024 security patch.

According to Samsung, the Galaxy Watch 4 will receive updates for several more years. Therefore, the next major Wear OS 5.1 update coming next year is likely to be the last significant update for this device.
