Xbox Insiders members can now stream some of the games they own on their consoles, even if they're not part of the Game Pass catalogue. This feature is available to Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One users who are members of the Alpha Skip-Ahead and Alpha programmes and have a Game Pass Ultimate subscription.

Here's What We Know

The streaming feature is available in all 28 countries where Xbox Cloud Gaming is available. Last month, Microsoft allowed Game Pass Ultimate users to play select games through the cloud service on PC, smartphones and tablets, and now this feature is being extended to consoles.

Supported games include Assassin's Creed Mirage game on Xbox, Baldur's Gate 3 game on Xbox, Cyberpunk 2077 game on Xbox, and many more. Players can access this feature through the My Games and Apps menu, where a check mark will appear for games that can be streamed. The full list of games is available here.

This new feature avoids large downloads and saves space on the console. Microsoft plans to expand the library of games available for streaming in the future. To become a part of the Xbox Insider programme, users need to download the Xbox Insider Hub app for consoles or PC.
