Like Valhalla: Assassinʼs Creed: Shadows producer has revealed the length of the gameʼs story campaign
We have already reported that Assassinʼs Creed: Shadows will feature a "Canon Mode" for those who donʼt want to delve into storylines and choose lines in dialogues.
Creative director of the new part of the popular series Jonathan Dumont reported another interesting detail about the game.
Here's What We Know
Dumont answered one of the most exciting questions: how long it will take to complete the main story of Assassinʼs Creed: Shadows, and he said that the duration of open-world games is difficult to estimate, because each player has his own pace and interest, but the timing of the new game is comparable to Assassinʼs Creed Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla.
It is not difficult to calculate that it is possible to complete the plot of Shadows in 30-40 hours, and the boundary figure depends on how much the player will be involved in exploring the world and passing additional quests and additional activities. Thus, the full playthrough time of Assassinʼs Creed: Shadows can take up to 150 hours.
If the content of the new game is done on the same level as in Odyssey and Valhalla, then the long timing will disappoint gamers rather than satisfy them, as those games felt overly drawn out and overloaded with unnecessary activities.
When We Can Expect It
Assassinʼs Creed Shadows releases on 14 February 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
