One UI 7 expands functionality between Galaxy phones and laptops
Samsung continues to improve its ecosystem, and with the One UI 7.0 update, the company has introduced new features that enhance the integration between Galaxy smartphones and Galaxy Book laptops.
Here's What We Know
The Galaxy smartphone can now be used as a webcam for the Galaxy Book laptop. To activate this feature, you need to enable Camera Share in the settings of both connected devices, as well as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
There's also a Storage Share feature that allows you to view files on your Galaxy smartphone from your Galaxy Book laptop without using a USB connection. These features are available in the beta version of One UI 7.0 for the Galaxy S24 series in select countries.
These features are expected to be fully implemented in the next updates. These features can also be achieved through Microsoft's Windows Phone Link app, but Samsung offers its own solutions for a more integrated user experience.
