Xiaomi has introduced two new magnetic USB-C cables for fast charging in China.

The Mi 6A models are 1 metre long and available in two versions: USB-C to USB-C and USB-A to USB-C. The cables support fast charging up to 120W and 480Mbps data transfer speeds and are compatible with Xiaomi HyperCharge technology.
The cables have a braided surface and are available in four colours: grey, olive, white, and dark brown. One of the features is the magnetic properties that allow the cables to stick to each other, which makes storage and transportation easier.

Xiaomi reports that these cables can withstand up to 10,000 tensile and 20,000 bending forces, and they can also withstand loads of up to 100 N.
The new product is sold in China for 59 yuan (USD 8), but it is not known when it will be available in other markets, including Europe.
