"Live Together - Die Alone": Blackfrost The Long Dark 2, the sequel to the popular survival simulator, has been announced

The Long Dark has been one of the most popular survival simulators for many years now, thanks in large part to years of support and the release of story episodes.

Indie studio Hinterland is not stopping there and has announced a sequel to their successful game.

Here's What We Know

The debut trailer of Blackfrost - The Long Dark 2 was presented at TGS 2024.

The authors didn't reveal any details of the project, but showed several characters and confirmed that the sequel will also take place in snowy Alaskan locations.

The game's page is already open in Steam, but it will be released not soon - Blackfrost - The Long Dark 2 Early Access will open in 2026.
