Developers of the ambitious action-RPG Crimson Desert from the Korean studio Pearl Abyss didn't miss The Game Awards 2024 and presented a spectacular trailer.
Here's What We Know
In the epic trailer the authors showed exciting battles with powerful enemies and impressive scenery of the spacious open world.
Gameplay footage once again confirmed that the Korean action game is extremely similar to many popular modern games, including The Witcher 3, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Elden Ring, Final Fantasy XVI, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Dragon's Dogma 2. Whether this is good or bad is hard to say yet, but the game looks great.
However, the new video revealed one more interesting detail: in Crimson Desert players will be able to ride huge dragons and use their fire breath and physical strength to capture fortresses and destroy enemies on the ground. This process looks as spectacular as possible and will undoubtedly become an important element of the game.
When We Can Expect It
The developers have not given a release date for Crimson Desert, but have confirmed that they plan to release the game in 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
