Hyundai will unveil a full-width holographic windscreen display at CES 2025
Hyundai Mobis has announced the first public demonstration of its latest Holographic Windshield Display system, developed in conjunction with German optics company ZEISS. The presentation will take place at CES 2025, which will be held in Las Vegas from 7 to 10 January.
Here's What We Know
The Holographic Windshield Display projects driving, navigation and multimedia information onto the entire windscreen, covering the area from the driver's seat to the passenger. To achieve this, a special optical film is applied to the glass, which provides "a sense of openness and spaciousness" as well as enhanced driving safety. The Kia EV9 will be a demonstrator of the new technology at CES 2025.
This is a new technology that is as yet unparalleled in the market. Hyundai Mobis plans to introduce it in production vehicles by 2027.
