Apple has released tvOS 18.2 update for Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD.

Here's What We Know

This update, which follows the release of tvOS 18 in November, brings several important improvements. Among them is support for cinematic aspect ratios such as 21:9, which provides an enhanced viewing experience on compatible projectors and displays.

Users can now enjoy the ultra-wide format during FaceTime video calls.

New Snoopy and Woodstock screensavers are also available for 2nd-generation and later Apple TV models that adapt to the weather, day of the week, or holidays.

In addition, you can now improve dialogue intelligibility with the new Enhance Dialogue feature that works in conjunction with HomePod (2nd generation). This tool improves speech intelligibility, allowing you to hear voices better amid background noise by processing audio in real time using machine learning.

How To Switch It On

The update can be downloaded manually by going to Settings, System, Software Update if automatic is disabled.
