Ilon Musk-founded company xAI has announced an updated version of its flagship chatbot Grok 2.

Here's What We Know

xAI claims that the new Grok is 3x faster and has improved accuracy, ability to follow instructions, and support for multiple languages. Free users can only ask Grok 10 questions every 2 hours, while subscribers of X Premium and Premium+ plans get higher usage limits.

In addition, xAI introduced a new Grok button on the X platform that helps users find relevant context, understand real-time events and dive deeper into topical discussions. The company also made changes to its enterprise API, lowering the price of token usage.

In the coming weeks, xAI plans to integrate its Aurora image generation model into the API, allowing users to create images using Grok.
