Samsung will announce a new artificial intelligence-powered Bixby alongside the Galaxy S25
According to new reports, Samsung is gearing up for the global launch of the updated Bixby voice assistant along with the Galaxy S25 series.
Here's What We Know
The new Bixby will use its own large language model like ChatGPT or Google Gemini, which will provide more natural interaction, contextual understanding and app integration. The updated Bixby is expected to be part of the One UI 7 stable update, which will also be available for previous Samsung flagships.
Earlier this year, Samsung introduced an improved version of Bixby in China with the W25 and W25 Flip phones. Now, the company plans to expand its availability globally.
The new Bixby will be able to get information from various apps such as Calendar and Samsung Internet, understand the context on the screen and connect to apps to perform various tasks. The Galaxy S25 is expected to launch in January 2025, and with it will come a new version of Bixby that will allow users to interact with the digital assistant in a more efficient and effective way.
