Garlands, a reindeer drone and a festive costume: the acclaimed action game Stellar Blade will receive a Christmas update
The developers of the Stellar Blade action game from the Korean studio Shift Up have announced a Christmas themed update, which will be released on the 17th of December.
Here's What We Know
Game designers will decorate familiar locations of the game with garlands, balls and other attributes of Christmas holidays, and the main character Eve will be able to dress up in a red and white Santa Claus-style costume. The girl will also get a hat, earrings and other special accessories in her wardrobe.
A festive tune will be played in safe zones, and players will be able to decorate the combat drone with a reindeer mask with garlands on its antlers.
Stellar Blade will also have a special mini-game, in which you need to shoot at targets and get points for it.
The developers made sure that the players didn't experience any dissonance and will add to the game the possibility to switch off all seasonal content, including summer, Christmas and the one that appeared in the paid DLC dedicated to NieR: Automata. This can be done in the Stellar Blade settings at any time.
Stellar Blade is only available on PS5, but It's official: hit action game Stellar Blade will be released on PC in 2025, probably in time for the release anniversary in April.
