Remedy has finally released a full update for Alan Wake 2 on PlayStation 5 Pro. Let's see how the game works on Sony's most powerful console.

Here's What We Know

A new graphics mode called Balanced has been added. This mode requires compatible displays with a 120Hz refresh rate. Balanced mode combines the settings of PS5 Pro Quality mode, including ray tracing, with the resolution of Performance mode. This mode is targeted at 40 frames per second.

The visual settings of Performance mode are now slightly adjusted to achieve a more stable frame rate.

In the Quality and Balance modes, the ray tracing settings have been adjusted to achieve a less noisy image.

The ability to enable/disable PSSR has also been added.

At the same time, The Lake House DLC has fixed manuscript collections that were displaying the wrong page in Mind Place. Also, the lack of sound in the video collection "Welcome to the Lake House" has been fixed.

Alan Wake 2 is a mind-bending survival horror game. You can find out why we think so in our review.
