Samsung is not only working on the new One UI 7.0, but also not forgetting about the current security for its mobile devices. It is reported that a new security update has started to appear for the mid-budget Galaxy A54 model.

The Galaxy A54 is getting the December update in the US and it is available for carrier-locked models. The new firmware for the Galaxy A54 is expected to be available for other regions soon.
There are no improvements in this update other than a new security patch. The December 2024 security patch fixes discovered vulnerabilities in Android, One UI and in a number of Exynos chips, including the Exynos 1380 used in the A54.
The Galaxy A54 is expected to receive an update to Android 15 and One UI 7.0 within a few months. This will be the second of four major operating system updates planned for this phone.
