Archetype Entertainment studio, founded by former employees of Bioware, Naughty Dog and 343 Industries, presented the first gameplay trailer of the ambitious role-playing game Exodus.

Here's What We Know

The intense and colourful trailer shows a squad of Travellers, including a character played by the famous actor Matthew McConaughey.

The heroes engage in firefights with representatives of alien races, explore some mysterious complexes and buildings, and even encounter the very intelligent Bear, the race of which is Battle bears will be humanity's best friends in the Exodus universe - a new trailer of the ambitious role-playing game has been unveiled.

Exodus RPG gameplay trailer

Exodus looks very atmospheric and really looks like Mass Effect. One gets the impression that this is exactly what the scandalous Andromeda was supposed to be. Perhaps, Bioware veterans will be able to do what their colleagues failed to do and release a first-class modern space RPG.

Judging by the trailer footage, players will have a lot of freedom of action and variability in completing tasks, and the main character has high mobility.

Recall, as the main scriptwriter of Exodus is the creator of Mass Effect universe Drew Karpyshyn. An interesting feature of the game will be an uneven flow of time on different planets: leaving one world for a while - the player when returning to it will find out that several centuries have passed and the situation has changed dramatically, but it is not clear how it will be implemented in terms of gameplay.

Exodus is being developed for PS5, Xbox Series and PC.

Unfortunately, the game's release date remains unknown.
