Motorola has unveiled two new budget smartphones - Moto G05 and Moto G15 - which, despite similar features, have several important differences.

Technical Characteristics

Both models feature a 6.67-inch IPS display, but the Moto G05 has a 720p resolution and supports 90Hz refresh rates, while the Moto G15 has a resolution of 1080p at 60Hz.

Both smartphones have a MediaTek Helio G81 Extreme processor, a 50MP main camera and an 8MP front camera, but the aperture of the latter is different: the Moto G05 has f/2.05, while the Moto G15 has f/2.1.

The Moto G15 also has an additional 5MP ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.4 aperture, which the Moto G05 does not have.

Another difference is that the Moto G15 has a third camera, which is only used to measure ambient light levels. As for the battery, the devices have a 5200 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

These smartphones are available for pre-order in Europe and the UK.

The Moto G05 costs from €129 (£109.99), and the Moto G15 from €149 (£129.99). The difference in price is not only due to the display and cameras, but also to the higher amount of RAM in the Moto G15 - 6GB versus 4GB in the Moto G05.
