Garmin has released beta update version 12.11 for the Venu 3, Venu 3s and vivoactive 5 smartwatches.

Here's What We Know

This update addresses two issues. The first issue was that the distance did not always update correctly during Golf activity, and the second was a bug that could cause the watch faces of watches with Connect IQ to close accidentally.

In addition, Garmin warns that Venu 3 and Venu 3S users who install this update will temporarily lose access to the ECG app. The app will be restored when the beta testing is complete or when a stable version of the update is released.

How To Switch It On

To download the 12.11 beta, users can go to Home, Settings, System, Software Update.

The Garmin Venu 3 is currently available for purchase on Amazon for $447.99.
