Sony Pictures has officially confirmed that the directors of the third instalment of Miles Morales' Spider-Man animated trilogy, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, will be directed by Bob Persichetti and Justin K. Thompson. Both artists have already participated in the creation of previous projects in the series.

Here's What We Know

Bob Persichetti was one of the directors of the first animated film, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, which won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.

Justin K. Thompson worked on the design for the previous instalments in the series.

Producer Christopher Miller noted that Persichetti and Thompson were involved in Beyond the Spider-Verse from the very beginning, but their appointment was announced only now.

The exact release date of Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse remains unknown. Previously, the release was scheduled for March 2024, but was postponed due to strikes by screenwriters and actors in Hollywood. The production of the film continues, and the team promises that the final of the trilogy will be a worthy conclusion to the story of Miles Morales. However, we should expect a screening in 2026.
