Nothing has released Nothing OS 3.0 stable for Nothing Phone (2) and Nothing Phone (2a)
Nothing has completed beta testing of its Nothing OS 3.0 based on Android 15 and has started rolling out its stable version.
Here's What We Know
The update has gradually started rolling out to Nothing Phone (2) and Nothing Phone (2a) smartphones. The update process is expected to take a few days and could be completed by the end of the year. Users of the above mentioned models can already manually check for the update in the system settings.
The new OS version includes an updated Nothing Gallery app with enhanced search and editing features such as filters and markup. It also adds new lock screen settings, new widgets including a countdown widget and a smart drawer that automatically sorts apps into folders. The update improves quick settings, pop-ups and typography throughout the system, as well as making visual and performance improvements.
The update will be available for Nothing Phone (1), Nothing Phone (2a) Plus and CMF Phone 1 in early 2025.
