We have already reported that the shooter Ukrainian studio GSC Game World is celebrating success - the shooter STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl has recouped its production costs in a fortnight and is already making a profit and paid off all production costs in just two weeks. But for the fans of the cult franchise there is one more interesting news.

Here's What We Know

According to Ukrainian businessman and owner of GSC Game World Maksym Krippa, his team is negotiating with the film company Netflix to create a series based on S.T.A.L.K.E.R..

Krippa did not share details, but considering that the franchise has an interesting plot and backstory, a huge amount of details, characters, events and, most importantly, opportunities for exciting development of storylines, it is perfect for screen adaptation. And considering that similar projects like The Last of Us and Fallout have become real hits, there's nothing stopping S.T.A.L.K.E.R. from repeating their success.

Krippa would like to see S.T.A.A.L.L.K.K.E.R. on Netflix and most likely Netflix would not be against such a deal, but at the moment negotiations are ongoing and there is no concrete decision yet.
